Microsystems and Polymers

I am a Principal Research Scientist in the MicroSystems and Polymers team working as an experimental physicist. My research and development expertise spans areas including laser processing, photonics imaging and sensing, nonlinear and optical materials, as well as radiation imaging and dosimetry devices.

I work in the Microsystems and Polymers teams as a Senior Research Scientist. We help Callaghan Innovation customers solve challenging applied technology problems.  I really enjoy the challenge of formulating new products and investigating unknown or failed materials.

I'm a Distinguished Research Scientist within the Applied Technologies group working on Sensing, Microfab, and Polymers. My expertise spans a range of fields including bio-electronics, electrical impedance measurement, nanotechnology and radio frequency circuitry. This diversity is fuelled by my interest in peculiar problems that pique my curiosity.

Joseph is a biophysical chemist working on plasticising biomolecules for sensor applications. His deep understanding of the commercialisation of science research comes from his background ranging from academia through industrial R&D and contract manufacturing. At Callaghan Innovation Joseph works on cancer health and the positive impact on patient outcomes.

I am an experienced manager with a demonstrated history of leading cross-disciplinary R&D teams.  My technical background spans the disciplines of physics and engineering, with a focus on materials science, and sensor systems development and prototyping.

I’m a Research Engineer specialising in Microsystems and Polymers working on innovative methods of microfabrication, particularly the development of 3D structures. I have also worked with computer vision systems, robotics, and biosensing technologies. Our work involves projects that bridge the gap between technology and real-world applications.

I am a Principal Scientist involved in research and development in the fields of materials science and engineering, with a particular focus on the circular economy. I have worked on diverse projects relating to advanced materials, including the development of novel coatings, functional organic synthesis materials, and composite materials.

I am a Senior Research Scientist specialising in Applied Technologies with a focus on MicroSystems and Polymers. My research adds value to materials used in the Health and Cleantech sectors using nanotechnology to functionalise them. We create new composites with unique properties tailored for specific applications.

I am a Senior Research Scientist specialising in Microsystems and Polymers in the Applied Technologies team. An intriguing aspect of my work involves exploring the diverse applications of ultrasound beyond pregnancy scans.

I work in the Applied Technologies group working on optical sensing, imaging and machine learning. In this, I use hyperspectral imaging, multi-spectral, 3D image data, and conventional imaging to solve industrial sensing problems.
