Welcome to the June edition of the HealthTech Activator (HTA) Monthly Wrap.

HealthTech Week 2023 is in full swing, and it was wonderful to get many in the sector together and hear from some brilliant speakers across Monday and Tuesday. Great to see some of you there!

The NZ Hi-Tech Awards also took place last week, and congratulations to Formus Labs and Tend Health for their category wins!

The HTA will be in Christchurch in August co-hosting several events with Te Tītoki Mataora. We’re also going to be presenting at a Christchurch networking evening in August with other sector partners, details to be confirmed soon.

Medical Software Regulatory Workshops

3 August, Christchurch

The HTA and Te Tītoki Mataora are pleased to host our next workshops on the regulation requirements for medical software products, including software in or as a medical device. These workshops are split between morning and afternoon sessions: with the morning session being for regulatory professionals and product managers or researchers, and the afternoon session for technical audiences involved in medical software development.

Health Economics Workshop

17 August 2023, Christchurch

Understand the drivers and processes used to determine economic value and a health system’s willingness to pay for a healthcare product. This highly interactive workshop is intended for decision-makers and organisations wanting to systematically compare technologies, access new markets, and secure reimbursement strategies across several healthcare environments and systems. The workshop is co-produced with Te Tītoki Mataora.
