Welcome to the June edition of the HTA Monthly Wrap. It’s been a busy year for the HTA, hosting 13 community events, adding multiple new resources to the website, and providing freedatabase search supportto over 20 companies. We’re excited to share two of our first events confirmed for the second half of 2022, with more events for you to viewon the HTA events page. Over July and August we will continue to plan and build more HTA events for healthtech companies, including more webinars and in-person workshops that will be shared in future emails.
As we head intoHealthtech Week 2022, we’re also pleased to share an article from the team at our partner organisation, Te Tītoki Mataora (TTM) - The Medtech Translator, discussing the resources available through TTM for supporting healthtech research translation (more on this below).

Accelerating the Translation of MedTech Research
Ella Dixon, Te Tītoki Mataora Te Tītoki Mataora - MedTech Translator is a multi-faceted initiative focused on growing Aotearoa New Zealand's deep tech sector by supporting research and industry that address healthcare needs. Support is provided through two mechanisms, including the Research Acceleration Programme (RAP) funding and the HealthTech Capability Programme.
The Clinical Validation page on the HTA website has been updated with diagrams and case studies that aim to help entrants to the healthtech community understand key aspects of the trials process.
