For many of us this month marks a period of rare travel beyond provincial borders, a time to spend with family and loved ones, recharging and perhaps a bit of beach lounging. This HealthTech Activator (HTA) Monthly Wrap is earlier than usual to catch you before you head off, and briefly focuses on our latest blog and our first event for 2022. Further details below. Have a great holiday period, and see you in 2022!       HTA News US Medical Device Reimbursement Insights HTA Team The fundamentals of US medical device reimbursement were explored in an online tutorial hosted by the HTA last month.  Our latest blog highlights insights from that event, and a recording of the tutorial is now available for viewing on the HTA webinars page.  Read more here.       HTA Events Spotlight HTA Capital Planning Workshop (in-person) 2 March, Auckland Presented by Tim McCready of BioPacific Partners, this programme is tailored for the specific challenges of capital raising faced by healthtech companies. We encourage those early to mid stage healthtech companies seeking to raise capital for the first time outside their immediate contacts to attend. Some of the topics that will be covered include: Pitching a healthtech company and what investors are looking for Developing your healthtech capital raising strategy Available sources of capital for healthtech companies Covid-19 impact on healthtech investment. The event will be hosted in person at Callaghan Innovation in Auckland, but will move online if required. To confirm your place please register here no later than Wednesday 23 February.
