Welcome to the August edition of the HTA Monthly Wrap! We're excited to announce our upcoming Commercial Planning and Strategy workshop in September. Tickets are limited, so be sure to grab yours before they're gone—details below!

August also saw the launch of the latest TIN HealthTech Sector Report, proudly sponsored in part by Callaghan Innovation and the HTA. Based on data from the 2023 TIN Survey, and including expert commentary from key stakeholders, the report shows how healthtech is adjusting to a more stable demand environment post-COVID. Total revenue grew 2.4% in 2023, but over the past decade, New Zealand’s healthtech export sector is shown to have more than doubled, from $1.27B to $2.62B.

In other news, our country is making waves with the recent lift on the ban on genetic modification and engineering, paving the way for groundbreaking advancements in New Zealand's health and biotech sector. And in a major milestone, Kitea Health has unveiled the world's first brain sensor impact, showcasing the incredible talent right here in Aotearoa.

Explore the details below and visit the HTA web portal for more information. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out. We're here to support you every step of the way.
