Fieldays 2024 is behind us, and once again, it was a fantastic showcase of agritech innovation, international engagement, and reconnecting with our Callaghan Innovation community! 

Changes Ahead

Over the past three years, MBIE has funded the turbocharging of New Zealand’s agritech sector. We are grateful for this, and am sure you will agree, we exceeded expectations - running many successful international market immersions, multiple sector-specific events, and extensive research and support initiatives - to instil a growth mindset in our agritech ecosystem.

As of June 30, 2024, this additional funding ended.

And this means we bid farewell to Simon, Sophie, Andrew, Clara, Kerrie, and Kev, who have moved on to new ventures. We are immensely grateful for their hard work and dedication, and we hope your company has benefited from their energy and efforts along the way. 

What's Next?
