Welcome to the May 2022 edition of the HTA Monthly Wrap. After nearly a year we are back to hosting in-person events, and we have another in-person event planned for June while we will continue to offer some online events too (links below).
As part of this Monthly Wrap, we’re pleased to share an article from the team at New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP), discussing some of the key factors for securing early-stage healthtech investment.
Turning our attention to the healthtech sector, Toku Eyes discuss their diabetes diagnostic platform on RNZ, Helico secure a seed funding round, and Garth Sutherland of The Insides Company is named a top 50 healthtech CEO. The 2022 Government Budget also secures substantial funding for health, including $40.7m set aside for RNA technology development.
Healthtech Week 2022 is now only one month away, with a great lineup of speakers, including The Hon Andrew Little. More details included below and you can register here. We hope to see you there!
Links to everything discussed above and more are provided below. If you have any comments or suggestions to improve our monthly roundup, we would love to hear from you! As always, thanks for subscribing to the HTA.
